Have Your Say On Insolvency Regulation

The Government announced they had a launched a review into the current landscape of Insolvency Practitioner Regulation (something we have covered in detail as part of CPD Tap).

Both R3 and the IPA are requesting you provide them with your thoughts so they can report back to the Government. These will be done by meetings and forums and they have posted details on LinkedIn. These are copied below FYI:

"Notice to IPA members

Following the Insolvency Service’s July call for evidence on insolvency practitioner regulation, we are in the process of formulating our response. As part of this process, we want to understand our members’ valued views.

"Earlier this summer, the Government launched a review of the current landscape for insolvency practitioner regulation. Ministers want to know whether there is confidence in the current framework – and whether or not they should use their power to introduce a ‘single regulator’ for the profession.

The outcome of this review will have a significant impact on insolvency and restructuring professionals. In our response to the review, R3 will be making sure our members’ views are heard by the Government.

To help us do this, we want to know what you think. We’re holding two complimentary R3 Member Forums, taking place in September, in Manchester and London, so that you can have your say.
