Behavioural Skills Webcasts

1. Becoming A Professional - The Choices You Make

  • This one hour webcast is aimed at the new professional, or someone who has been promoted to a position where they have started to take more responsibility and could now be looking at their life and career a little differently.

Neil Taylor presents a webcast that looks carefully at the choices made by a new professional. How are they building their 'brand'? What impressions do they intend to leave behind and what impressions do they actually make? How do they use language (both verbal and otherwise) to make an impact, what actions do they choose and how do they grow self-awareness such that they can make more empowered, more enabled choices?

2.  Becoming A Professional - Effective Communications

  • NTI and the IPA are delighted to present a ground-breaking webcast for new professionals, as well as those who are changing roles, on communication skills that are essential for the building and maintaining of a successful career.

So many of your competitors get it wrong and do not focus on the way they make a positive impression and forge relationships. This is your chance to be truly different and to become a person you can be proud of.

The webcast lasts for 55 minutes and is presented by Neil Taylor.

3.  Becoming A Professional - The Complete Package

  • This is the third and final webcast in the 'Becoming A Professional' series produced in tandem with the IPA and presented by Neil Taylor. Through great choices, matched with positivity and determination, a person can become 'the whole package', striving to be the greatest they can be.

In this webcast we share ideas and action points on core values, actions and consequences, assertiveness and anger, multiple intelligence and powerful communication. Using examples, stories and practical ideas Neil encourages those at the beginning of their career to consider their choices and become the designer of their evolution.

The webcast lasts for 50 minutes.

4. The Insolvency Professional - Managing A Team

  • Here is the first webcast for the established manager and one who either is a leader, or becoming a leader.

This webcast enables you to take a fresh and thorough look at who you are as a manager and how you work to create an environment in which your colleagues can excel. It focuses on essential language, the abolition of ego, the use of positivity and key aspects of listening to your intuition, whilst engaging rationale.

It is a great 50 minutes for any manager with any level of skills and experience.

5.  The Insolvency Professional - Motivational Skills

  • This is the second webcast in the NTI / IPA behavioural skills series for the established manager.

In this webcast Neil Taylor explores how a manager can use positive and proactive interpersonal skills to create an environment in which people can, if they choose to do so, excel. We focus on establishing a stimulating workplace, with 'extrinsic rewards', the right combination of 'internal and external referencing' using attractive behaviour and emotional intelligence.

It is an essential 55 minutes for any manager who wants to make a difference in the workplace and evolve their own skill-set.

6.  The Insolvency Professional - Developing And Supporting Your Team

  • This is the third (of three) webcasts for Insolvency Managers and those with responsibility for people, their development and growth. In this 50 minute webcast Neil Taylor explores the many ways you can be inspired to increase the energy in your office, leading to greater activity and potential.

We also look together at the prerequisites of emotional intelligence, exploring the changes you can make to become more self-aware and a better manager, before linking this with the adult behaviour recommended in transactional analysis.

The essential elements of effective feedback are shared, with examples and recommendations for daily life.
